4 Month Catch Up!

OK, so lets see. The past 4 months have been so amazing. So many crazy things have been happening. Lets see...we had a great holiday season spending time with the family truly enjoying the time that we were able to spend together. It was an amazing way to spend our first Thanksgiving and Christmas. I have not been working since August so it has really been like one long honeymoon. (The honeymoon has ended though, its back to reality as Jimmy and I are both working now!) In December we were able to go up and visit Lisa and Scott for a few days, and we enjoyed our time in SLO. We made friendship tea which Lisa was a little nervous about, but then realized how yummy it was. We also made some homemade dinners, as well as went out for some bomb Mexican dinner. We also spend one day in Pismo riding ATVs in the dunes. We were inspired from our honeymoons and so we all decided it would be a great activity. It was freezing outside but so worth it!

For new years this year we decided to paint our walls in our house. It was such a fun craft to do. We chose "retro avocado, Koi, and Caribe" for our colors. It definitely warmed up the house. Sadly on that note Jimmy and I had to move out of our house in the beginning of February. Our house got broken into, and thank the dear Lord that we were not home. Nothing but my Ipod was stolen but we took that as being time to move more North. It was definitely a blessing in disguise. We are now living in Escondido. We live about a mile and a half from our church where Jimmy works and we have a huge sense of community now. Mom and Dad only live about 15 minutes away so its nice to be able to just pop over to say hello. We are really excited about the new house. We can not wait to see what the Lord has in store for us and how to use it as a ministry to serve our friends.

In other big news, well you will have to check Z as in Zebra, Lisa's blog for that big news, but boy is it big and boy are we soooooo excited about it! Yesterday was Valentines, and we went to go see the movie Valentines day, and went to lunch at Hacienda de Vega. Yummyy!!! At night we had Bud and Em over for a movie and some bananna grams thanks to mom, which by the way was voted best game of the year! Great job mom!

Also in great news, Lizzy is getting married in less than 3 weeks. It has been so much fun planning and throwing her showers. We are so excited for her and Rich to have such an awesome wedding, and to begin their lives together. They are so awesome together. Congrats Lizzy and Rich, we love you guys!

That is pretty much a wrap up of the last 4 months, well what I can remember of it. I will try my best to not wait 4 more months to post! More pictures to follow once I upload my computer!
