One Year.

Today my baby turned 1 year old. Technically not until 5:00 p.m. but still my baby is most definitely not a baby any more he is a full blown toddler, walking with a walking toy, 6 teeth, and babbling words all day long, how crazy is that?!?! I really can't quite get over that a year has passed since I gave birth to him.

Thatchy has the sweetest little personality, and he really is officially a little man. He is such a little ham-bone who is always making us laugh and his dancing, legs and arms moving or his constant chatting. I laugh because the boy who can make everyone laugh when he dances while I sing "partyin, partyin, yeah" is the same boy people used to say "Such a serious baby. Does he ever smile?" How the times have changed!

I am so grateful for the gift of being a mom, especially to Thatcher. He has and continues to teach me so much about love and what it looks like to truly love someone unconditionally. I am excited to see what the next year of his life brings us and see how his little personality continues to come out!

Thatcher Ace- I LOVE YOU!

A Trip To Pleasanton!

About a month ago (yes, I am very behind on blogging) Thatcher and I took a trip up to see my sister, Scott, Wyatt and Reesey Bear. We arrived in Pleasanton on Tuesday morning and left on Friday really really (too) early. It was a really really fun time despite the rainy weather. Im going to try to do my best to remember the correct order of our events but my memory sometimes is a little bad so my days may be confused!

Tuesday when we got there we went straight from the airport to Target which is of course Lisa and my favorite place to go during the week. We drove the monster bus around and the boys loved being next to each other holding hands, laughing and looking at one another. After target we went home to Lisa's had lunch and put the babes to bed. When the boys woke up we let them play around as we made dinner.

The next day we woke up super early as usual with 3 babes, and went out to bagels. Yum!! We were quite the sight. Lisa carrying Reesey in the car seat and me carrying both boys all of us still in our cozies while it was raining. We got our coffee and bagels and gave the boys breakfast. After that we put the Thatchy and Reesey down for morning naps and then got ready for the day. When we were all ready we got the babes up and got them ready and headed out to the mall. We ate some yummy lunch at CPK, did some window shopping and of course got some Mrs. Fields cookies to take home/ eat right then and there. We also made a pit stop in livermore to go to the super cute fabric store I always love to go to when I am at Lisa's.  We were also really excited to see that Tifanys cupcakes was open! Yum. That last few times Lisa has tried to go they have been closed. We got cupcakes and then decided to head home before the boys fell asleep in the car ride home. We put the babes to nap and then watched some tv/napped ourselves. That night I did Lisa, Wyatt and Scotts hair while enjoying yummy cupcakes and watching some Laguna Beach.

Thursday we decided to head out to Walnut Creek for shopping and lunch, after of course having bagels for breakfast again! It was slightly raining that day but nothing was going to stop us from having a good time! We took the boys and Reesey to H&M and then to lunch at Chipolte. We were laughing so hard because in any other situation we would not be outside shopping in the rain but we were bound and determine to not let it ruin our fun. Later that night we had dinner, went to cold stone for dessert and got us all packed up to head home. My very sweet brother-in-law was going to take Thatchy and I to the airport by 6:00 a.m. Yikes! So we had to be ready to go at night.

It was such a bummer that our trip flew by us. I always need to remind myself to stay longer when we go visit the Zaballos family. We always have so much fun together no matter what we are doing! I also have to say it is VERY hard to get two babes to sit together for a picture and once again my sister and I did not take a photo together.  Lisa we really need to work on that!
