16.

16 complete weeks, 24 to go!!!

Yep, what you are thinking is right, we are expecting our second baby on October 16th, 2012 and I am 16 complete weeks just a day into my 17th week! We could not be more excited to have another baby joining our family this year. I have been so blessed by being a mother to Thatcher I can not wait to experience motherhood as a mother of 2. I am officially 4 months along, feeling much better and 3 weeks from Friday we will be able to find out the gender of Robeson Babe #2!

For now, this is what we know. The baby is healthy and growing right on track, today the babe had a strong heart beat of 150 and got very positive check up with Dr. McNeely. For now, here is the second ultrasound we had, which is of the babe at 11 weeks, so he or she has most likely doubled the size in this picture!

One Year.

Today my baby turned 1 year old. Technically not until 5:00 p.m. but still my baby is most definitely not a baby any more he is a full blown toddler, walking with a walking toy, 6 teeth, and babbling words all day long, how crazy is that?!?! I really can't quite get over that a year has passed since I gave birth to him.

Thatchy has the sweetest little personality, and he really is officially a little man. He is such a little ham-bone who is always making us laugh and his dancing, legs and arms moving or his constant chatting. I laugh because the boy who can make everyone laugh when he dances while I sing "partyin, partyin, yeah" is the same boy people used to say "Such a serious baby. Does he ever smile?" How the times have changed!

I am so grateful for the gift of being a mom, especially to Thatcher. He has and continues to teach me so much about love and what it looks like to truly love someone unconditionally. I am excited to see what the next year of his life brings us and see how his little personality continues to come out!

Thatcher Ace- I LOVE YOU!

A Trip To Pleasanton!

About a month ago (yes, I am very behind on blogging) Thatcher and I took a trip up to see my sister, Scott, Wyatt and Reesey Bear. We arrived in Pleasanton on Tuesday morning and left on Friday really really (too) early. It was a really really fun time despite the rainy weather. Im going to try to do my best to remember the correct order of our events but my memory sometimes is a little bad so my days may be confused!

Tuesday when we got there we went straight from the airport to Target which is of course Lisa and my favorite place to go during the week. We drove the monster bus around and the boys loved being next to each other holding hands, laughing and looking at one another. After target we went home to Lisa's had lunch and put the babes to bed. When the boys woke up we let them play around as we made dinner.

The next day we woke up super early as usual with 3 babes, and went out to bagels. Yum!! We were quite the sight. Lisa carrying Reesey in the car seat and me carrying both boys all of us still in our cozies while it was raining. We got our coffee and bagels and gave the boys breakfast. After that we put the Thatchy and Reesey down for morning naps and then got ready for the day. When we were all ready we got the babes up and got them ready and headed out to the mall. We ate some yummy lunch at CPK, did some window shopping and of course got some Mrs. Fields cookies to take home/ eat right then and there. We also made a pit stop in livermore to go to the super cute fabric store I always love to go to when I am at Lisa's.  We were also really excited to see that Tifanys cupcakes was open! Yum. That last few times Lisa has tried to go they have been closed. We got cupcakes and then decided to head home before the boys fell asleep in the car ride home. We put the babes to nap and then watched some tv/napped ourselves. That night I did Lisa, Wyatt and Scotts hair while enjoying yummy cupcakes and watching some Laguna Beach.

Thursday we decided to head out to Walnut Creek for shopping and lunch, after of course having bagels for breakfast again! It was slightly raining that day but nothing was going to stop us from having a good time! We took the boys and Reesey to H&M and then to lunch at Chipolte. We were laughing so hard because in any other situation we would not be outside shopping in the rain but we were bound and determine to not let it ruin our fun. Later that night we had dinner, went to cold stone for dessert and got us all packed up to head home. My very sweet brother-in-law was going to take Thatchy and I to the airport by 6:00 a.m. Yikes! So we had to be ready to go at night.

It was such a bummer that our trip flew by us. I always need to remind myself to stay longer when we go visit the Zaballos family. We always have so much fun together no matter what we are doing! I also have to say it is VERY hard to get two babes to sit together for a picture and once again my sister and I did not take a photo together.  Lisa we really need to work on that!

Sneak Peak- Pleasanton Visit!!!

Last week I got to spend the week with my sister, oh yeah!! It was just the greatest week ever! I have yet to edit all my photos so here is a mini sneak peak of what our week together looked like!! The best right?!? My heart was so full all last week, especially in this picture!

Date Night Celebrating Friends!

My very dear friend Caitlin is getting married!! I could not be happier for her. She is actually marrying Brian who was my really good friend my freshman year of college. Brian lived in the dorms above me, and Cait lived in the dorms as well! The 3 of us were all friends individually and so I was so excited when over a year ago Cait called me to tell me she was dating Bri. The two of them are so prefect together, they are just the sweetest people I have ever met! They are getting married in September and I can not wait for the big day. They recently had an engagement party and it was a fun excuse to have a date night just Jimmy and I, and we even remembered to take a picture of the two of us( a little blurry but still)! I will say this having a baby you forget to take pictures of just the two of you! Cait and Bri- we can't wait for the big day! Love you both!! We were so honored to get to share in the celebration with you guys!

The Beach!

Friday Family Fun Day is probably my favorite day of the week. We wake up, get cozy and go get bagels, come home take a mid morning nap then get ready for the fun we are about to have. A few Fridays ago it was low 80's so we decided to head to the beach. We went to Honeys for lunch (YUM), we haven't been to honeys since right after Thatchy was born, and then walked to the beach to dip our toes in the sand and water. It was the first time that we have ever taken Thatchy to the beach and it is safe to say he LOVED it and we will be spending a lot more Family Fun Days and lots of time there this summer. Thatcher was so in awe of the water and sand he wouldn't even look up at me for a picture. I cant wait to see this guy this summer living it up (well sun screened of course my tall glass of milk!) at the beach!

10 months!

February was a funny month for Thatcher turning 20 months. Technically there are not ever 30 days in February so I wasn't really sure when to classify him as turning 10 months! Thatchy is still growing like a weed and becoming such a little ham-bone! He lately has been giving me the cheesiest grin showing off his teeth it kills me every time! Also, two days before he turned 10 months I walked into his room while he was supposed to be napping and he had pulled himself up!! I had been waiting for this day and it just crept up on me! It was so sweet though, he didn't know how to get down so he'd stand there crying until I could help him down. Within a few days he learned to sit and now is loving standing and sitting all the time. He also can "walk" or "take steps" if Jimmy or I are holding both of his hands. He really is just such a big kid now! He is still going strong with his 4 top teeth and 2 bottom, but has been very drolly lately. I can not wait to continue to see him grow these next two months before he turns 1!! Ahhhh I can't believe he will be 1 in less than 2 months!!!
