What a wonderful weekend!

This weekend was so much fun! The Andrews family has some big news! On friday I called my mom and asked her what she was doing. She told me that she was going to go pick up a little puppy for her and my dad. I was so excited and could not believe it was true. We have officially welcomed Bailey into the Andrews family. She is 8 weeks old and is a very calm, loving, and beautiful dog.

Jimmy and I were so excited to have a Saturday where we had no commitments. We slept in and then went out to Beach Grass Cafe in Solana Beach for breakfast. We were all set and ready to go to the beach but unfortunately the sun never came out. After walking around some shops at the beach we decided to go spend the day with the new puppy Bailey and lay out at my parents house. We took Bailey to get a check up which ended up being an unsuccessful trip but Bailey and I bonded in the car ride.

Here are a few pictures of the Bailey and the weekend...

Seven and a Half Months!!

Jimmy and I have already been married for 7 1/2 months!! Where does the time fly. We are also approaching Lisa and Scott's 2 year anniversary and Chris and Katie's 1 year anniversary. Life has changed so much in the last two years, it really has been so exciting. Now with the little baby Zaballos on the way things keep getting better!

Jimmy and I have been trying to do fun things with out afternoons instead of sitting in the house. A few weeks ago I told Jimmy I wanted to climb to the top of the cross in Rancho Bernardo. I have driven by the cross hundreds of times but never been to the top. Jimmy met me after work one Monday and we hiked up to the top.It was a very short hike, 15 minutes maybe but boy was it a work out. It is straight up hill! We sat on top of the mountain reading the bible, eating a subway sandwich, and saying all the things we are great full for. It was a beautiful day and such a breath of fresh air. I would definitely recommend hiking to the cross if you ever get the chance to!

Lake Arrowhead Writers Retreat!

Jimmy was given an amazing opportunity with his record label Listener Records to go up to Lake Arrowhead for the weekend for a writer's weekend. We drove up the mountain and spent the weekend with old friends and making new friends. For three days Jimmy sat and talked about Christian music today and where it is going. He got to share some of his new songs (which are amazing by the way) with Brenton Brown, Lovelite, Travis Ryan, and Jonny and Sarah Macntosh. It was such a relaxing and yet at the same time a weekend to really get pumped up for production on the up coming CD. We were also privileged to meet with some really fun and influential people in the Christian music industry. For me it was a relaxing weekend to meet new friends, try to understand music a little more and catch up on lots and lots of homework. Jimmy now back in the studio working very hard to make his second album. I am so proud and so excited to hear the new songs the Lord has given him. I cant wait for you all to hear it!!
