Oh BOY!

On Monday, Jimmy and I got to see Thatcher! We had an appointment to get an ultrasound to make sure that Thatch was growing on schedule, and boy were we in for a fun suprise. As the ultrasound tech was making all of her measurements she said, "oh this will be fun for you guys" and clicked over on the screen and we got to see him in 4D! It was such a fun suprise and such a special moment. I totally teared. 4D photos are so insane, we could see his face very clear, his cute little nose and lips, and I must say so far from what we can see he is going to be a mini Jimmy! The question still up in the air is whose coloring is he going to take, and will he have hair?

Along with getting to see him so clearly, we got a great report from the doctor we went to see. It was his first time seeing us, and he said that Thatch tested 8 out of 8 for activeness, and all of his organs were growing healthy and strong. I am now 33 1/2 weeks along and Thatch measures for the length and weight of a 34 1/2 week baby. He already weighs 5 pounds 1 ounce!! OH BOY! Its so crazy to me how they can see so much and measure his bones and stomach and see how much he weighs.

Rumor has it, at this point in the pregnancy the baby will grow about a pound a week....yikes! Maybe Thatch will make an early enterance into the world! We are so excited to meet him and love him, and seeing the 4D only made us more excited!

And now for your enjoyment...a sneak peak of our little guy Thatcher Ace Robeson!

This Guy.

This little guy melts my heart. He is going to be the best older cousin to Thatcher and he has the best parents who love him soooo much! Wyatt Scott Zaballos, Auntie loves you soooo much!!

A Trip to the Zaballos!

This weekend I was lucky enough to go spend some time with my Sissy, Scott and Wy! I arrived in Oakland on Friday afternoon. Lisa and Wy greeted jimmy and I in the airport. Jimmy was playing at a camp in the mountains so he did not get to hang out. He was hard at work!

On Friday, Lisa, Wy and I went to Chipolte for lunch, then went home and relaxed for a little. After Wyatt's nap, Lisa and I packed our stuff and drove to Livermore. There is a super cute fabric store I wanted to go check out. We also wanted to get some bomb cupcakes, but sadly when we got there an hour and a half before they closed they were all sold out of cupcakes for the day! Big time bummer!!! I did make up for it by getting some really cute whale fabric! We then decided to go to dinner, so Scott met us. We got some bomb sushi after a very very long wait. Wyatt is seriously such a champion. He is such a good baby! I love him so so much.

Saturday Lisa Wyatt and I took the Bart into San Francisco. It was so fun! After a 30 minute Bart ride, we were in the City!! We hit the city ready to shop! We went to all of our favorite stores, Anthro, Urban, Forever, H&M and Nordstrom. We had lunch at the Nordstrom Cafe. The view was so beautiful... we were so high up and we had such a good view of the city! We of course also got ourselves some yummy treats for home...cinnamon pretzels and Mrs. Fields cookies! Yummy!! We then took the Bart back to the house and made some yummy mexican food for dinner. We had a big day so we laid low Saturday night. I just LOVE spending time with my sister. She is my best friend and it was so fun to get to spend some sister sister time together!

Sunday came wayyyyy to fast and before I knew it, it was time for me to catch my flight home. Before I left we went to yummy Noahs Bagels for breakfast which is a weekend tradition for the Zaballos family! I also gave Wy his 4th hair cut of his life! Love those locks of hair! Everyone dropped me off at the airport and we said our goodbyes. Lisa and I had a crazy realization as we were hugging goodbye...the next time ! see my sister I will be in LABOR!!! Its so crazy to think the next time we see each other Thatch will be here!! Its just so exciting!

Here is a collection of photos from the weekend!

Happy LOVE day!

On Valentines day, I was able to see so many people I love! Lisa and Wyatt were still in town (they left later that day), so Mom, Dad, Katie, Lisa, Wyatt, Jimmy and I decided to get lunch together and then go get a Sprinkles cupcake. Lisa has never had one! Sadly, she still has not had one because the line was INSANE! I guess everyone in San Diego wanted to get their Valentine a cupcake. So after a failed attempt, we went to UTC hung out for a while, then said goodbyes to Sis and Wy. I was so sad to see them go, but I knew it would only be 3 short weeks until I got to see them again.

After UTC, Jimmy and I came home and decided to go to our favorite local sushi place for dinner. We decided since it was Valentines day we might as well get dressed up for a fun date night down the street. It was a great LOVE day spent with the people I love!

Beyond Blessed!

I have to say I have the most amazing family and friends. On Saturday February 12th my sister, sister-in-law and good friend Mallory threw Thatcher and me a baby shower. (Lisa and Wyatt flew down for the celebration. Scott we missed you!) It was so much fun to be gathered with all of the people I love to celebrate the new little life growing daily inside of my belly!

The party was a Dr. Seuss book theme. Everything from the handmade invitations to the party decorations, games, and food was so fun and so adorable for Thatch. Thatcher is one lucky guy to come into a world where so many people already love him so much! Thank you to everyone who came to celebrate and who blessed our socks off!

Sunny Saturday!

For the first time in a long time, Jimmy and I had nothing to do on Saturday. It was really nice. It was a sunny and beautiful so decided to go to our old stomping grounds (downtown area). We went to Hillcrest to our favorite bagel place City Bagel and got yummy breakfast bagels. Then we went downtown and walked around for a while. We went to the salon I used to work at and went window shopping at Urban Outfitters. We then walked around Horton Plaza for a little bit getting coffee and doing some more window shopping.

Then we decided to go to Balboa Park. We had some blankets in the car so we pulled them out and found a cozy spot on the grass by the botanical gardens. We laid in the sun and I took a nap. It was so nice and relaxing. After laying in the grass for a few hours we walked through the gardens and then we decided it was time to go.

We were getting pretty hungry at this point and so we went to Mission Valley and got some yummy Pat and Oscars for lunch. We still weren't ready to go home yet, so we went to Mission Valley Mall and did a little more window shopping. After walking around for while, we finally got tired and headed home.

It was a really fun day being outside just hanging out with one another. We are trying to do lots of fun activities like this before Thatch comes. But....we are so excited to meet our son!!!

Craft Day and Date Night!

On friday we decided to be crafty and work on Thatch's room. We decided a while ago we wanted to paint his room dark gray. With all of the crown molding in our house it was a big task to do alone, but Jimmy worked really hard to do an awesome paint job since I could not paint. While Jimmy was painting i decided that I would work on my project for Thatch. At the beginning of the week I bought some cute fabric to sew the blanket to go in Thatch's crib. So while Jimmy was painting I was sewing. It was my first time using batting in my craft so I was very nervous. It ended up being pretty easy and really fun!

While the paint was drying our house was getting really smelly, so we decided it would be fun to go out and do something fun. We decided to go on one of our old favorite dates. We got all bundled up in our cozy clothes and drove to the beach. We made one pit stop at Wendy's for a half chocolate half vanilla frosty and some french fries. YUMMYYY! We sat on the beach and we watched the waves and looked at the stars. It was freezing so we only lasted about 40 minutes, but it was still fun to be out doing something fun.

Here is just a sneak peak of the new paint and blanket for Thatch's room. We still have a bunch we want to do, and luckily we still have 3 months left to make his room all cozy for him. Side note, 3 months from TODAY our son will (hopefully) be here!! And a few fun photos from our beach date!
