Tucson!

For Memorial Day weekend Jimmy and I got the opportunity to go to Tucson Arizona for three days. Jimmy was asked to play out in Tucson by Calvary Chapel Tucson and they were so nice and allowed me to fly out with Jimmy. We left early Friday morning and we got to Tucson by 10 in the morning. We stayed at a super fun hotel with a lazy river and water-slides. It was so nice and so relaxing to have a few days to just relax and lay by the pool. I finished reading the best book "10th circle" (if you have not read it you should!). Friday was the first day over 100 degrees this year. We really enjoyed the dry weather ( a little too much I'm peeling now!)

On Friday night we went out to dinner to a really yummy restaurant "Zona". Layer that night, Calvary Chapel Tucson did a really special night of worship. Jimmy lead worship along with another artist from Tucson and it was a really sweet night of worship. Saturday we laid out some more and then we went to Saturday night service followed by going out to really yummy falafel. Sunday morning was very eventful, we went to the 4 morning services and met some really friendly people, and ate really yummy breakfast burritos. After church we went back to the hotel and relaxed by the pool a little bit more. We were then picked up by our friend and taken to an amazing restaurant for lunch. After lunch we drove around and looked at the U of A campus, and then we were taken to the airport. It was such a quick and fun and relaxing weekend meeting new friends and worshiping.

On Monday we were lucky to get to lay by my parents pool and BBQ with the family. Lisa was still in town, (she had come in on Wednesday night). We all laid by the pool Chris and Katie came over along with Zach, Megs, Aunt Pat, Uncle Gary and Mike and Vicky. We ate yummy food and enjoyed each others company. It was such a nice way to spend the day with the family especially because it is rare to get everyone together. I love my family!!

Here are some pictures from Tucson!
